  • Exchange and return of goods

    In accordance with the provisions of the Retail Trade Rules, goods are exchanged or returned at the written request of the user at the place of purchase of the goods or at another location indicated by the seller that is convenient for the user. The user submits the product to the seller and a written request stating the reason (lack of product or other reason) due to which the purchased product does not satisfy the user, and one of the provisions in Article 6.362 of the Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania (if the product is of suitable quality) or Article 6.363, paragraph 7 (if the product is purchased goods of inappropriate quality) of the specified requirements.

    If the goods are of suitable quality, according to Article 6.362 of the Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania, the buyer has the right within 14 days from the handing over of non-food items to him, if the seller has not set a longer term, to replace the purchased items with similar ones of different dimensions, shape, color, at the place of purchase or at another place indicated by the seller. items of model or completeness, or return the items to the seller and recover the price paid for them. Please note that the buyer's request to exchange or return items is satisfied if the items have not been used, are not damaged, their usable properties have been preserved, the items have not lost their marketable appearance and the buyer has evidence confirming that he bought the items from a specific seller.

    Non-returnable items
    It is necessary to note that Clause 17 of the Retail Trade Rules provides for a list of non-returnable goods (for example, electrical appliances, toys, furniture, cosmetics, books, underwear, etc.).     Article 6.228 (10) of the Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania stipulates the list of non-returnable goods when purchasing remotely. Non-returnable perishable goods, made-to-order and made-to-measure goods, unboxed personal hygiene goods, etc., when they are of suitable quality and purchased remotely.
